Fixing WebAdvisor Issues

Task: 

Sometimes, users are not able to log in to WebAdvisor, even though the service is operational. This is usually due to the browser retaining stale data.

Prerequisites (if applicable): 

None.

Instructions:

If you're using Chrome, do the following:

  1. Click the the three dots in the top right corner, then click Settings.
  2. Go to the following address:
chrome://settings/siteData?searchSubpage=webadvisor.jibc.ca

It should show webadvisor.jibc.ca and the number of cookies.

  1. Click the delete icon (garbage can).
  2. Open another tab and go to https://webadvisor.jibc.ca.


If you're using Microsoft Edge,do the following:

  1. Click the the three dots in the top right corner, then click Settings.
  2. Go to the following address:
edge://settings/siteData
  1. ​​​​​In the search box, enter webadvisor.jibc.ca. It should show webadvisor.jibc.ca.
  2. Click the down arrow next to it and then click the delete icon (garbage can).
  3. Open another tab and go to https://webadvisor.jibc.ca.
