About this Guide
Unit4 Web is the web/online version of Unit4 ERP (formerly known as Unit4 Business World, Agresso Business World, and Agresso).
This guide provides JIBC users with step-by-step instructions on how to access their payslip through Unit4 Web. Instructions for printing payslips, as well as how to view the Hourly Pay History Details report, are also provided.
1.0 Logging In
Unit4 Web is accessed by navigating to http://myaccount.jibc.ca.
For detailed instructions on how to login to Unit4 Web, please refer to the Unit4 Web Basic Access Guide.
2.0 Accessing Your Online Payslip
Complete the following steps to access your online payslip:
Step 1: Once you have logged into Unit4 Web, navigate to Personnel Information. The Personnel Information function is found by navigating to Your employment under Menu on the left-hand side of the screen:
Note that the content you see in your Menu may differ depending on your level of access/permissions within Unit4 Web.
Select Personnel information – it will open in a new tab:
Step 2: Click the paper clip icon (Documents):
The Documents following screen will appear/pop-up as follows:
Note that there are 3 different views to choose from when viewing your documents:
1) List: Displays a list of all your payslips for each pay date.
Note that there are Sort by and Search fields:
a) Sort by: Allows you to sort your payslip documents by the following criteria:
i) Document title: This will sort by the column in the list when selected.
There is now an arrow next to the Document title column heading. If you click the arrow in the column heading, this will change from ascending to descending based on the Document title.
ii) File name: This will sort by the column in the list when selected.
There is now an arrow next to the File name column heading. If you click the arrow in the column heading, this will change from ascending to descending based on the File name.
iii) Document description: This will sort by the column in the list when selected.
If there were Document descriptions, this would be used to sort them as in the above examples.
iv) Document type: This will sort by the column in the list when selected.
The Document type is all the same here, if they were different this would be used to sort them as in the above examples.
v) Last update: This will sort by the column in the list when selected.
There is now an arrow next to the Last update column heading. If you click the arrow in the column heading, this will change from ascending to descending based on the Last update.
Note that whatever criteria you choose here for sorting will display as the sorting default the next time you login. However, you will be able to change it, if desired.
b) Search: Allows you to search the documents by any of the information displayed in the columns.
Example: all documents with a ‘7’:
Double-click on a payslip from the list to view further details.
2) Detailed: Displays the most current payslip:
3) Grid: Displays your payslips for each pay period as PDF icons:
Double-click on a payslip from the grid to view further details.
3.0 Payslip Information
The information available on your payslip will vary depending on your employment type with JIBC. The following
subsections will provide examples for 3 different employment types:
- Sessional Employee
- Salaried Employee
- BCGEU Casual Employee
Each example will indicate where to find the following details on the payslip:

for the hours, the current pay period amount, and the year-to-date amount for the earning |

Deductions, this displays the type of deduction, the current pay period amount for the deduction, and the
year-to-date amount for the deduction |

4.0 Saving or Printing Your Online Payslip
Once you have accessed your online payslip (refer to section 3.0), use the Printer and Floppy Disc icons located in
the top right-hand corner of the screen to print or save your payslip:
When you are done you can close the Personnel information window:
5.0 Hourly Pay History Details
Note that the online payslip does not identify the specific dates worked; therefore, you will need to access the
Hourly Pay History Details report to view the dates worked that have been paid for in a particular pay period.
Step 1: Navigate to Reports on the Main menu:
Step 2: Under Global reports to the right, click the down arrow on the Pay Information folder. The Hourly Pay History Details report icon will appear:
Step 3: Select the Hourly Pay History Details report by clicking on the report icon. The following screen will appear in a new tab:
Step 4: In the Deposit/Pay date like field, enter the pay date (this is the deposit date on the payslip) of the pay period for which you are wanting to see the dates worked that you were paid for. The calendar to the right may also be used to select the pay date:
Step 5: Once the pay date is entered/selected, click the Search button:
The following report will appear under Results:
To look up a different pay period, go back to Step 4 and select another pay date, then proceed to Step 5.
6.0 Logging Out
When you are done using Unit4 Web, for security purposes, ensure you log out of the system.
