Task:
Save and Restore Bookmarks in Google Chrome
Prerequisites:
Google Chrome installed on your computer.
Instructions:
To save your Chrome Bookmarks:
- Launch your Chrome browser. Click the three-dot settings icon in the top right-hand corner.
Hover over Bookmarks and select Bookmarks Manager.
- Click the next three dot settings icon in the top right-hand corner and select Export Bookmarks.
- Navigate to your U: drive, name the file, and select Save.
To restore your Chrome Bookmarks:
- Launch your Chrome browser. Click the three-dot settings icon in the top right-hand corner.
Hover over Bookmarks and select Bookmarks Manager.
- Click the next three dot settings icon in the top right-hand corner and select Import Bookmarks.
- Navigate to your U: drive, select the Bookmarks file you previously saved, and select Open.
Outcome:
You will now be able to save and/or restore your Bookmarks in Google Chrome.
