How to configure a Digital ID

A step-by-step guide to configure Digital Signature

Prerequisites

  • Laptop
  • Adobe Reader/Acrobat
  • A PDF file

Steps

  • Step 1: Select the Signature Line

    Click on the signature line in the PDF.

    Choose "Create Digital ID" when prompted.

  1. Step 2: Choose How to Save Your Digital ID

    Select your preferred method to store the Digital ID.

  • Step 3: Enter Your Information

    Fill in your personal details as required.

    Refer to the provided example for guidance.

Step 4: Save and Secure Your Digital ID
Save the Digital ID file to a secure location.
Set a password to protect it for future use.|

Troubleshooting

Issue 1: No Signature Field
  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Go to the Tools menu and select "Use a Certificate."
  • Click "Digitally Sign" from the Certificates toolbar.
  • When prompted, click and drag to draw a signature box where you want your signature to appear.
